ECACOMSIG normally organises several microsymposia ("MS") at the European Crystallographic Meeting.

This year at ECM27 in Bergen, Norway we have organised four MS (the MS numbers below are provisional and may change nearer the time of the conference) and have a keynote speaker (Professor Simon Parsons of the University of Edinburgh, who will be present a lecture about Absolute Structure Determination) -

MS29: Likely to be useful: Statistical software packages
Chair: James Foadi, Gleb Bourenkov
Speaker: Garib Murshudov
Speaker: Manfred W. Baumstark

MS30: Buy one, get one free: software for twin handling
Chair: Regine Herbst-Irmer, Michal Dusek
Speaker: Berthold Stöger
Speaker: Ina Dix

MS 41: Dynamics in crystals: experimental techniques and software
Chair: Francesca Fabbiani, Navraj S. Pannu
Speaker: Antonija Kuzmanic
Speaker: Carole A. Morrison

MS46: Advances at lower resolutions: new experimental and modelling
approaches
Chair: Randy Read, Martyn Winn
Speaker: Daniel Rigden
Speaker: Linda Reinhard

Martin Lutz has organised a Software Fayre at the ECM in Bergen which will showcase a wide variety of Crystallographic software
